How many meals should someone have a day?


That all literally depends on the person.


Some people are happy with 3, some 4, 5, 6? It’s just all down to preference and then portion control.


When it comes to portion sizes you want to aim building it around your calories. E.g. if you’re consuming 2,000 calories a day and you want to eat 3 meals a day then you’re aiming to consume around 666 calories per meal (Not including snacks). If you are having your snacks in between then you could aim to have 600 calories per meal. Leaving around 200 calories left for your snacks.


The beauty is you can work it around how ever you want you can have a small calorie breakfast and a higher calorie dinner. It’s just finding what works for you and depending on your goals, working within your calories set for you.


Just like everything we’re all different so the best thing you can do is find out what works best for you. Experiment, and don’t put too much pressure on yourself.
